ReplyDeleteOne night, I looked out the window and I saw my neighbor purposing to his girlfriend. His name was Bob Parker. His wife said yes. They looked so happy, until two weeks later they came into their house and everything was gone except their couch, bed, and television. Everything else was gone, it was a horrible tragedy. They did not have much money because their wedding was two weeks before. I felt so bad, I drove them to the police station and they reported the crime. The police asked if they knew anything about the robbery but since bob and his wife we not home they had no information. The police said they could try their best to figure it out but it would be very hard.
So once they were done we all went back home and I invited them to come over for dinner. We had chicken, string beans, and carrots. Bob and his wife were so nice to us and me and my wife, Laura were very happy to help them. Laura felt really bad and she pulled me aside and we went into the other room. I was wondering what she wanted then she told me “we should let Bob and Nicole stay in our house until they can find a way to get their furniture back.” I said “I don’t know where they could stay.” Laura mentioned that the basement could be a good place. I agreed. We went back into the dining room and told them it was fine if they stay with us. They were so happy and thankful, so they moved in. Most night we would have dinner together so it was a good time to be able to bond with our neighbors. On Tuesday and Wednesday night we would all watch American Idol together. Two months later my wife an I were thinking that maybe we should tell Bob and Nicole to try to get an apartment because it had been a long time and we wanted to have our house back to ourselves a we were going to tell them we heard something and it was the robber again, he was back at Bob and Nicole’s house. We picked up the phone and dialed 911.
